Getting started

Authentication

Send your key as a bearer token on every request to /v1/watchers:

A missing, unknown or revoked key gets 401 unauthorized. Each key belongs to one account, and you only see that account's watchers.

Both run real checks against real sites.

Idempotency

Send an Idempotency-Key header with POST /v1/watchers to retry safely. For 24 hours, the same key with the same body returns the first response instead of creating a second watcher. The same key with a different body is 409 idempotency_conflict.

Rate limits

120 requests a minute per key. Over that you get 429 rate_limited and a Retry-After header in seconds.
